Skittles, Skittles...and yes, more Skittles.

This week we've been working on our skittles murals. we started out by taking a picture of our selves and uploading it into photoshop. After we did that, we turned the picture into skittles colors and added a gradent to turn it into pixles. Each pixle represents a skittle, and now we are in the process of gluing down all our skittles. This has been a very LONG process so far, but it's actually turning out very well! I think this is going to look really cool once we're done, but after this, I don't think I'm ever going to eat skittles again.

                VALUE
      PORTRAITS!

This is a picture of the boy I drew for our Value Portraits. The picture took alot of time and it was hard to get the shading right. The hardest part would have to be his nose. It took FOREVER to get it to even resemble a real nose. To the left is a picture of me working on my portrait.

SHADOW ART!

I was absent the day our class did the shadow art project. I looked back through the pictures Mr. Sands took and I really liked what this group did. I think all the colors they used in the light made it really stand out!

MASKING
TAPE
MURALS!
This is our finished sports mural! I feel like this peice was successful because alot of people around school talked about it.

This is my group working on our sports mural. My group was made up of Sarah, Madi, Abby, Tyler, Jakob, Cheryl and I. We all like to play sports so that helped us in the process of creating it. We used the technique of hatching and cross-hatching to help our mural come alive! We got to use masking tape to tape our ideas on the wall.
